We are looking for an experienced Low-Code Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate
will bring strong expertise in Java development, hands-on experience with low-code/no-code
platforms Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Intrexx, m-Power, GeneXus,
RESTHeart, or similar), and solid SQL knowledge. Familiarity with the commercial insurance domain
and exposure to the Sapiens Insurance Platform will be highly advantageous. This role involves
designing and developing scalable solutions that blend low-code agility with enterprise-grade
robustness.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and enhance applications using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring,
Spring Boot).
• Configure and extend low-code/no-code platforms Experience with low-code/no-code
platforms (e.g., Intrexx, m-Power, GeneXus, RESTHeart, or similar) to meet complex business
requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database designs.
• Integrate applications with APIs, services, and third-party systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate insurance requirements into technical
solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by adopting best practices and exploring new lowcode tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java (Java SE/EE,
Spring/Spring Boot).
• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Intrexx, m-Power, GeneXus, RESTHeart,
or similar).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and APIs.
• Familiarity with the insurance domain, especially commercial insurance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and
business teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
• Experience with the Sapiens Insurance Platform (policy administration, claims, billing).
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Prior experience in insurance technology modernization projects.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and testing frameworks.
